Like with 2022 – to follow through with our message of conservation – this year we will be focusing less on “hunting” for plastic eggs in designated areas and – instead – offering games and activities that visitors can participate in to get candy! These games include Duck Fishing, Egg Balance, Carrot Toss, Egg-ducation Station, Egg Guessing Game, and Scavenger Hunt Bingo!

Eggstravaganza 2023 will also feature food trucks like Rome Fried Dough and the Grapevine and entertainment such as Jim Okey Magic Comedy and Cait’s Character Corner with characters such as Alice and the Queen of Hearts, Ariel, Spiderman, and a Stormtrooper. The Happy Haggs Dace Troupe will also make an appearance. And – of course – there will be the Easter Bunny!

Throughout the day, there will also be keeper talks and “Egg” themed enrichments that will be given to our animals throughout the day!

And finally, there will be a variety of vendors such So Sweet Candy, Martin’s Menagerie, Car’s Clay Art, Stacy & Dan’s Book Nook, RawADK, and more!

Eggstravaganza will run from 10am to 3pm on April 8. The zoo will remain open until 4:30pm.
