Irish Cultural Center
Irish-American men and women have long been a cornerstone of the Mohawk Valley, with a significant number of families making their homes in Utica, New York since the 1820's, when many Irish hands helped build the area, including the historic Erie Canal. The state-of-the-art Irish Cultural Center, a resource for those in the community and visitors interested in furthering their understanding of Irish culture and history, through a museum, exhibits, classes in Irish dance, poetry, music, theater and language. Featuring an 18th century Traditional Irish Pub built in Ireland by the Irish Pub Company. Meeting and event space for 275 people. All are welcome! No membership needed.
